This really is like looking into the past. The wet sand, even the foot prints. What a beautiful world it was then. Such impressive creatures. You capture that as if you saw it. Amazing. The ocean water is painted so beautifuly. That is hard to capture.

Thanks! I like this atmosphere. I especially wanted to convey the impending storm front right from the sea.

I adore it. You have a wonderful eye and gift. I hope you won some of these contests if not all :3  Have you always loved dinosaurs?

So well executed that I thought it was some kind of traditional painting. Beautiful.

I think that it's because I paint it in the same manner as in traditional technique.

Love how the eye wanders from the blurry-theropod focal point to in-focus azdarchoid. I take it this is Averianov & Yarkov's critter.

Yes it's from that paper of Averianov&Yarkov, 2004. You also can read the post of Andrea Cau with mention about this paper. [link]

Really? First Abelisaurid from Asia?

It could be non abelisaurid ceratosaur.

It looks much more like an Abelisaurid, at least the way you depicted it. I'd say that an Abelisaurid in Asia is somewhat possible because they were present in Europe.

Yep. I really depicted abelisaurid. But Andrea Cau mention that metacarpal could be attribute to non abelisaur ceratosaur. [link]

I agree with Gorgosaurus - the first thing which struck me was the peace and natural setting. Reminds me of the Cruel Seas chapter of Walking with Dinosaurs.
Im glad I watch you - you can bring them back to life in a beautiful way. :)

Like I said in your blog, Andrey, I think this is BEAUTIFUL.
It is so good to see this theropod patrolling a beach without running with its mouth wide open and the environment is very reallistic, too.
Spike.
